北京小吃豌豆黄 Wan-dou-huang Yellow peas pudding

豌豆黄入宫传说:据说,一天慈禧正坐在北海静心斋歇凉,忽听大街上传来敲打铜锣声和吆喝声,心里纳闷,忙问是干什么的,当值太监回禀是卖豌豆黄、芸豆卷的。慈禧一时高兴,传令将此人叫进园来。来人见了老佛爷急忙跪下,并双手捧着芸豆卷、豌豆黄,敬请老佛爷赏光。慈禧尝罢,赞不绝口,并把此人留在宫中,专门为她做豌豆黄和芸豆卷。

豌豆黄材料简单,只用豌豆和白糖即可做出清甜可口的春季时令小吃。相比西方的糕点来说,我更喜欢这种制作简易,美观,并且对健康有益的甜点。

食材:干豌豆三百克 浸泡两小时以上

糖:一百克

豌豆和糖的比例为:一斤豌豆,3.5两糖
